The Race for 2021 Wedding Dates | Book NOW!

Newly-Engaged Couples Struggle for Peak Dates

With so many 2020 weddings being postponed and prioritized by venues and suppliers for their dates in 2021, it leaves a very small availability window opened to newly-engaged couples. The demand for weekend wedding dates, may even mean that venues could run out of weekends to offer in 2021. Weekday weddings may need to be considered.

It has also been quoted that, “2021 will be the industry’s busiest yet, with even the off-peak, normally quieter weekdays and months booking up with not only 2020 postponements, but also couples who would have been planning a 2021 wedding anyway”.

Weekday Weddings

Here at County Line Event Center, we urge you to come and tour, so you can lock in your preferred wedding date. If by chance your weekend wedding date isn’t available, or if the price tag for a weekend wedding is not looking so good anymore, it might be a good time to reprioritize your preferred day and/or your guest count. This is where Thursday, weekday weddings can come in.

Finances play a big role in your venue decision, and in most cases, reducing your headcount reduces your spend. So, if you have been hit particularly hard by the COVID crisis, the combination of reducing your head count, and having a Thursday, weekday wedding could be the ticket!

Always know, that when reducing your head count, there are also ways in which you can make people feel involved. You could live-stream the ceremony, send care packages ahead of time with wedding favors and heartfelt notes, courier them a piece of cake after the day, etc…

Also, if for whatever reason, you need to reschedule your wedding, rescheduling a weekday wedding can be much easier.
