Allysa’s Cottage Experience!
Allysa, our featured blog winner, chose to stay at our bridal cottage the night before her wedding. She absolutely loved waking up with her bridal party where no traveling was required! Just a day filled with getting ready and getting pampered. The first thing on their agenda, was to enjoy a delicious continental breakfast in the comfort of their pj’s. Since Meloney & staff were handling all the big to-do’s, Allysa had more than enough time to spend with her closest friends, and to get ready all day! During that time, one of the cutest memories that Allysa still thinks of to this day, is that her niece Lily, who was 4 at the time, was given a piece of gum, after a couple of minutes, they asked Lily, “where is your gum”? Lily responded by pointing to her mouth. When they looked inside, nothing was there, and it was determined that she had swallowed it! Everyone laughed and knew that little Lily was experiencing new moments in her life, just as the same as Allysa.
“My wedding was great at County Line. They made my day awesome. I loved having the cottage the night before it was great, and waking up to a yummy breakfast was awesome as well. I had some much help from all the staff and Meloney was a great help getting all the things that needed to get done. I wish I could do this all over again. I would marry my husband here every weekend if I could. I would recommend y’all to any one and everyone who needs a small quaint wedding venue.”

If you plan on getting ready at home then you may have to organize wedding cars or transport to get you and your bridal party to our venue on time. Wedding transportation equals additional cost to your wedding budget. Also, you may be faced with traffic jams, road works/diversions or issues with the weather that could delay you, and why be stress in getting to the venue, while you can be pampered in our cottage.
Invite your Custom Suppliers to Arrive Early
By staying at our wedding venue ‘the night before’, you’ll be able to start decorating it sooner. If you are a DIY wedding, bride with unique custom suppliers, or if you simply need to give yourselves more time, then staying at our venue the night before would be advisable.
